The WA Primary Health Alliance engaged ‘Rare – Creative Agency’ to produce a marketing campaign that will tackle depression. The concept, engages local artists to create visual representations of depression as described by people who have lived through the experience.

As part of the Australian Government’s investment into suicide prevention, WAPHA have adopted the “Alliance” model that has been employed successfully overseas. After the Alliance was implemented in the region of Nuremburg (Germany) the suicide rate fell by 24% in two years. 

The Alliance Against Depression framework has four levels of community-based activity. This provided the strategy for a series of tv and press ads representing the ‘Inside My Mind’ campaign.
